Thakrals Australian Associate Gemlife Develop A428 Mil Lifestyle Resort Queensland 0
GemLife, an Australian associate of Thakral Corporation, has announced plans to develop a lifestyle resort in Queensland specifically targeting downsizers over the age of 50. The project, called GemLife Elimbah, will cover an area of 26 hectares and is estimated to cost A$428 million ($353.45 million). The resort will feature 404 homes, each with two bedrooms and a multipurpose room. This marks GemLife’s third resort in Moreton Bay, following the success of GemLife Bribie Island and GemLife Moreton Bay.
According to GemLife’s director and CEO Adrian Puljich, the rising popularity of land lease communities is driving the development of GemLife Elimbah. These communities offer residents a low maintenance, secure, and relatively affordable living option. They also provide an opportunity for individuals to live alongside like-minded neighbors, build new social connections, and stay healthy through on-site amenities.
