Dp World Opens First Singapore Warehouse Mapletree Benoi Logistics Hub

DP World, a leading international supply chain solutions provider, has recently opened its first warehouse in Singapore. Located at the Mapletree Menoi Logistics Hub, the 140,000 sq ft bonded, multi-user warehouse marks DP World’s latest expansion in the Asia Pacific market. With this new facility, DP World now manages over 8.6 million sq ft of warehousing space in the region, in addition to its global ports, terminals network, and freight forwarding business.

According to Glen Hilton, CEO for DP World in Asia Pacific, these new warehousing facilities in Singapore, Hong Kong, and South Korea, along with the existing ones, will enable the company to provide agile, efficient, and reliable logistics solutions. He also mentioned that the recent acquisitions, including Singapore-based Legend Global Logistics, have strengthened the company’s specialist logistics services.

Since relocating its APAC regional office to Singapore last year, DP World has significantly increased its employee base to more than 10,000 employees, accounting for about 10% of its global workforce. With this expansion, the company is now better equipped to serve its customers in the region and deliver a wide range of logistics solutions.
