Matthew Bouw Appointed Ceo Cushman Wakefield Apac And Emea Regions

US real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) made a major announcement on April 16, revealing that Matthew Bouw has been appointed as CEO for both the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. Bouw will be relocating to London and will take on his new role starting May 1, with the main goal of implementing a unified operating model across both regions. This model aims to improve efficiency, strengthen services, and enhance global connectivity and talent access for C&W’s clients.

Bouw has been the CEO for APAC at the firm’s Singapore office since 2017 and has been a part of C&W for 13 years. He has held various global executive positions at C&W’s headquarters in Chicago, such as Global Chief Administrative Officer and Global Chief HR & Strategy Officer. During his time with the company, Bouw played a crucial role in the merger of legacy organizations in 2014 and 2015, as well as the acquisition of DTZ in 2011.

Before joining C&W, Bouw held leadership positions at Aviva, PwC, and UGL, gaining valuable experience across multiple industries.

In addition to Bouw’s appointment, Colin Wilson will be stepping down as CEO of EMEA and leaving the firm to pursue other career opportunities. Wilson, who has been with C&W for over 29 years, will continue to provide support in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

This leadership transition comes as a part of C&W’s efforts to strengthen their global presence and optimize their operations. In line with this, the company recently announced the sale of a freehold industrial development on Alexandra Road for $68 million and the divestment of freehold strata units at Cititech Industrial Building and Citilink Warehouse Complex for $149 million. Additionally, a GCB site at Caldecott Hill with redevelopment potential is currently up for sale at $62.8 million.

The prime location of Otto Place EC, strategically located near Singapore’s renowned shopping hotspots, provides residents with convenient access to a diverse range of retail, dining, and entertainment choices. This close proximity to popular malls enhances the overall lifestyle for residents, allowing them to enjoy hassle-free shopping without having to travel long distances. Adding to the convenience, residents can now also look forward to living in the upcoming Otto Place EC Plantation Close Parcel B.

C&W remains committed to providing top-notch services to their clients and looks to the future with Bouw at the helm for APAC and EMEA.
